I spent Valentine's Day in Uruguay. Valentine's afternoon. From the top of the Colonia lighthouse you can jussst make out the Buenos Aires skyline across the Río de la Plata. Pretty romántico.

You know Luis Angel Firpo, the guy knocking Jack Dempsey through the ropes in that kickass George Bellows painting Dempsey and Firpo? When the Wild Bull of the Pampas died, this is where they buried him, down the lane from Evita.
